In 2018, Klaviyo had their first marketing conference. There were 3 asks for the event: Showcase data, showcase the success of their customers, and celebrate their Boston hometown. The entire conference was designed to feel welcoming and celebratory. Bringing Klaviyo’s strong sense of community to the physical space of a live event - with their customers front and center.
2019 was even bigger. The internal team led the design of the event branding and partnered with agency Cramer to bring it to life.

NRF 2025
20x30 booth experience for the world’s largest retail gathering with 40,000 attendees.
The booth concept - There is no place like Klaviyo to grow your brand - was set up to put customer brands front and center with a mini house experience with 5 “rooms” featuring customer products and merging digital experience with an in-person experience. With a video showcase for each room, a well as QR codes for 47 brands leading to a full case study.
The booth stood out for it’s warmth among a sea of tech brand experiences.

Carbonite brand book
For Carbonite employees, by Carbonite employees. Each team’s page features their brand pillars and how the department embodies them - all written by each department themselves.
The brief for the book design was only that it stands the test of time, showcases each department, and stands as the most distilled example of the Carbonite brand.
Customer quotes remind employees who they are building products for and how much Carbonite means to people when they lose their files. The imagery is a combination of the city of Boston, interiors of their first-ever headquarters, and the small details that make up the day-to-day culture.

Level up your marketing
This “Level Up” campaign was used in Klaviyo’s booth at industry shows Magento Imagine and IRCE in mid-2017. The graphics were intended to be fun and eye-catching - to stand out in a busy event hall, but also communicate that Klaviyo is next-level marketing automation software - giving you more: more access to data, better insight, and ability to communicate and market in a more sophisticated way that results in more revenue from email.
