Lead Designer
Built and manage the Creative team from a team of one to 6 designers and 2 copywriters. Led the development of all communications design for Klaviyo for a wide range of media online and off, as well as asset and project management processes. Built network of printers, vendors, and contractors.
Led design work for all sales enablement, marketing initiatives, and company-wide brand initiatives including their user conference, Klaviyo:BOS, customer workshop series, and web experiences.

Lead Designer
Rebranded and evolved the Barkly brand and ensure a consistent public presence throughout the company’s various marketing programs.
Worked with the Sr. Content Writer to concept and develop various content marketing pieces and their promotion.
Led the re-design and development of the website; designed and coordinated their presence at the Spiceworld industry event and other major initiatives. Worked on or oversaw the various day-to-day creative for the marketing team like content assets, banners, emails, landing pages, and product collateral.
Managed a team of 2 designers and worked with other teams in the company determining project goals and objectives, and developing project briefs.
Built and maintained creative project management systems to optimize project intake, ensure correct scoping and on-time delivery, track resources week over week, and organize, manage and centralize production assets.

Create and maintain the visual design standards for the ongoing use and development of the Carbonite brand. Ensure brand and visual consistency with cross-functional design teams including UX and Dotcomm. Manage the day-to-day work and professional development of the Marketing Services’ team of 3 designers ranging from Senior to Associate. Ensure work consistently meets strategic goals, delivers on creative excellence, and technical best practices. Responsible for the team’s continued inspiration and growth. Oversee campaign development, client presentations and everyday asset creation and maintenance. Work with the writing team for design/copy cohesiveness and collaboration.

Acted as a marketing creative team representative in larger cross-team projects focusing on Carbonite’s small business audience and channel marketing initiatives, while also maintaining work flow as designer on day-to-day projects from concept through coding and production. Worked with business owners to ensure successful creative that is on strategy, vet problems and provide more effective solutions. In addition, grew and maintained relationships among internal sales and product design teams to help facilitate a better work flow and brand consistency. Ownership of projects from concept development to final production. Developed design guidelines for the Carbonite and worked within the design team at large to develop technical standards. Built design and creative asset libraries for better work flow.
